Frost Seeding
- Tags: Farm News
Today Pete Jr. is frost seeding clover on our fallow field. The repeated freezing and thawing towards the end of winter will cause the clover seed to fall into the cracks of the soil. The clover seed will then germinate and grow a protective covering for this field once the weather warms up. This field will rest for three years and after the two years, it will be used again for vegetable production.
